Traveling across the world part 1.
Recently I had been traveling across the world from the USA to Thailand for thirty-two hours. Thirty-two hours might sound crazy for you, Isn’t it? But It was not that bad at all. Traveling taught a lot of things that I won’t be able to learn if I’m sitting at home and not go out of my comfort zone. So let’s begin with my journey.
How do I get a ticket?
- I started looking at a ticket https://www.google.com/flights then It took me to where I wanted to choose to buy a ticket. If you are planning to go on a trip, I would recommend booking a ticket in advance like a month ahead. the way that you are booking in advance, you will get a cheaper price.
- I look where I want to stop and change the flight. I chose Japan but at that time I did not I have to transfer to another airport to get to another destination.
- Flight hour is kind of important if you are concern time-consuming.
What I have learned from buying a ticket
I love traveling and being on the airplane, train, bus, or car. It gave me a feeling of excitement where it will take you, what is going to happen while you are traveling and also It gives me a moment that I am being by myself and think about my life.
Being responsible for myself — It takes a lot of time to plan to go on a trip. For me, I have to read a lot about transferring from NRT to HND airport. I have to ask and accept that I don’t know everything. I almost had to buy a new ticket because I was late at the airport so they changed my fight but you never know what is gonna surprise you while you are traveling. You have to come up with the solution. My solution was I could not check in with Japan airline so I have to call American airline twice and finally got that fixed on time before taking off. lucky!!
- If you can not speak the local language, It’s not a big a deal — There is another way to communicate is hand language or pictures. You will be ok. Trust me!!
- Plan ahead — I missed flight early morning because I left my apartment late and I booked a ticket with my new last name that did not match passport. I was lucky enough that American airline changed my flight for the next day.
- International flight — You have to match your name with your current passport. Don’t forget that!!
- Passport — if you are traveling to another country, your passport has to not expired less than six months.
- Flight transferring — In Japan, You have to get to immigration to get out and taking the bus to another airport.
- Don’t forget pencil — It’s kind of funny but I forgot a pencil and I had to borrow people next to me. Maybe you can make a new friend!!
Thank you for reading my journey and for the next story, I will talk about how it likes when you had not gone back to Thailand for 2 years. everything has changed like a lot. But leave me a comment if you like my article otherwise see you next story. Thank you!!
